what is an american ?

  Being an American to me is when you have multiple cultures for example when your family comes from another country. Because American is made up by multiple cultures and ethnic groups. They are people who come from other countries for a better place to live and also to have a  better future for their family and kids .
         family's from other countries come to the united states to have a better future because possibly their not doing so well in their own countries and they feel like they have a better future in America.
   America has also always   been a nation made up of multiple cultures which is what makes this country so unique and loved by others . Their has been times where not a ethnic groups have been treated equally in america because of race , skin color and your gender.
